News (6 min, 2014) is a collaboration with visual and sound artist Giancarlo Colaianni. Much of the text is repurposed from found news articles from the summer of 2014. News was created as part of Heat: A night of Collaborative Friction, August 2nd, 2014 in New York City. Shot by Jordan Levie.

I installed the video inside a metal filing cabinet. The video begins playing when the drawer is opened, stops when the drawer is closed, and begins again from the beginning when the video is opened again.
